Akova Castle is a medieval Frankish fortress located near Tropaia and the village of Vyziki in the mountainous region of Arcadia, Greece.

Built in the early 13th century on a rocky hill, it served as the seat of the important Barony of Akova, one of the most powerful feudal territories in the Principality of Achaea during the period of Frankish rule in the Peloponnese. The castle was strategically positioned to control the surrounding valleys and mountain routes.

Although much of the structure is now in ruins, parts of its walls and towers still survive, offering a glimpse into its former military strength and medieval architecture. Akova Castle is also associated with local legends, including stories about the noblewoman Margarita of Passavant, and is sometimes known as the Castle of Monovyzas. Today, it attracts visitors interested in medieval history, archaeology, and the scenic landscapes of Arcadia.
