Albon is a small commune in the Drôme department of southeastern France, located in the Rhône Valley between rolling hills, farmland, and vineyards.

It is historically significant as the birthplace of the powerful House of Albon, whose rulers helped create the medieval principality of Dauphiné. The town is best known for the Tour d’Albon, the surviving keep of a medieval castle that once served as a major center of power for the Counts of Albon.
