Arrentières is a small commune located in the Aube department in the Grand Est region of north-central France.

The village lies on a limestone plateau called Côte des Bar, characterized by farmland in the south and forested areas in the north, with several small rivers flowing through its territory. Arrentières dates back to the 12th century, historically linked to the Commanderie de Thors of the Knights Templar and a Cistercian priory, which was later transferred to Chaumont.

The village is notable for the Château d'Arrentières, built in the 13th century and significantly rebuilt during the late Middle Ages, now registered as a historical monument. The Church of Saint Jacques in the village houses many historic religious artifacts and artworks dating from the 16th to the 19th centuries. Throughout its history, Arrentières has maintained its rural character with an emphasis on agriculture and local heritage.

It is located near the town of Bar-sur-Aube and maintains a small population of under 200 inhabitants as of recent counts.
