The Barbuda Frigate Bird Sanctuary, located within Codrington Lagoon on Barbuda, is one of the most important bird-watching sites in the Caribbean and is home to the largest colony of frigate birds in the Western Hemisphere.

The sanctuary protects thousands of magnificent frigate birds, along with many other bird species that nest among the lagoon’s mangrove islands.
