Beach Adegas (Praia das Adegas) is an official naturist beach located in a secluded cove near Odeceixe in the Aljezur municipality on Portugal’s wild Costa Vicentina coast in the Algarve.

It has been an official nude beach since November 2004 and is the only official naturist beach on the Algarve’s west coast and the northernmost nude beach in the region. The beach is small, stretching about 200 meters, and is surrounded by high cliffs that provide privacy and protection from wind, creating a tranquil and hidden paradise.

Access is via a steep footpath and wooden staircase down from a parking area at a viewpoint, or by walking around the cliff at low tide from the neighboring Praia de Odeceixe. The beach is part of the Costa Vicentina Natural Park, known for its rugged, untamed nature, and attracts naturists from across Europe seeking peace and stunning surroundings.

There are no facilities like bathrooms, bars, or lifeguards, and swimming can be risky due to rough waters and strong currents. Summer months offer warm weather and supervision, while shoulder seasons or off-peak times provide a quieter, often deserted experience. It’s a popular spot for couples, families, locals, and tourists who appreciate naturism, natural beauty, and solitude.
