The Botanical Garden of the Faculty of Science at the University of Zagreb is Croatia's oldest botanical garden, founded in 1889 by Professor Antun Heinz and part of the University of Zagreb.

Spanning 5 hectares in central Zagreb near the main railway station, it houses over 10,000 plant species—including 1,800 exotic ones—across thematic areas like lily ponds, a rock garden, arboretum, Zen garden, and greenhouses with carnivorous plants and giant Amazonian water lilies.

A statutorily protected monument of garden architecture and nature, it supports education, research on Croatian flora conservation, and attracts over 100,000 visitors yearly for serene walks amid its diverse ecosystems.
