Bramston Beach
Australia, Australia
Bramston Beach is a small coastal township and rural locality on the Cassowary Coast in Far North Queensland, Australia, about 60 kilometres south of Cairns and 20 kilometres north of Innisfail.
It sits on an 8–11 kilometre‑long stretch of largely undeveloped beach backed by tropical vegetation and faces the Coral Sea with a generally moderate wave climate and no formal lifeguard patrols. The area is known for its quiet, low‑key atmosphere, a small holiday settlement with a store, motel, and beachfront caravan park, as well as good fishing and boating access off Joyce Creek and Wyvuri Creek at either end of the beach, while also being a place where visitors sometimes spot endangered cassowaries and pods of Australian humpback dolphins offshore.
