Cense de Solières is a historic former seigneurial residence and farm, also called the “ferme du Manoir,” located at Rue du Crucifix 1 in the Ben‑Ahin section of Huy, on the heights between Andenne and Huy in Wallonia.

It is first mentioned in a 1362 legal document that established a rent in favour of the nearby Cistercian nunnery of Solières Abbey, but the building you see today is a fine example of Mosan (style mosan) architecture from the early 17th century, constructed in sandstone, limestone and brick with a distinctive two‑tone facade and a high stone base, and is topped by a slate roof.

The façade is animated by two towers: a circular stone tower at the main front corner and a pentagonal tower, probably added during a restoration around 1930, on the rear side, while inside an original 17th‑century fireplace survives, and the whole complex, including its agricultural annexes, has been protected as a listed monument since 21 April 1982.

Today the Cense functions as a private dwelling set in the quiet hamlet of Solières, about one kilometre from the ruined Château de l’Abbaye de Solières and the former abbey site, in a landscape of forested hills and meadows along the valley of the Solières stream, an area favoured for walking routes such as the “Promenade de Beaufort‑Solières” that starts nearby.
