It was a fortified residence surrounded by deep moats, featuring two main wings oriented north and east with three of its four originally flanking towers still standing. The castle’s architecture showcases thick stone walls, defensive openings, and large windows from later centuries, highlighting an evolution from medieval fortress to more residential uses.

It includes a distinctive entrance adorned with the Grady-Salme coat of arms dated 1725 and features a large terrace accessible by a stone bridge. The château sits in a park with century-old trees and various outbuildings from the 19th century, representing an important part of regional heritage and reflecting architectural changes over several centuries.
