The Château de Plainevaux is a historic “château‑ferme” (farm‑castle) in the village of Plainevaux, part of the commune of Neupré in Liège province, Belgium, originally begun by Cistercian monks of the Abbey of Val‑Saint‑Lambert who received the lands of Plainevaux, Strivay and Rosière in the 12th century and from about 1653 built the main building that still forms the core of the present castle.

The monks remained owners until the French Revolution of 1789; a stone in the right‑hand tower bears the name of Abbé Taxillis (superior 1635–1666), and in the 19th century the Baron de Waha, with the architect Jean‑Charles Delsaux, substantially modified the building, enlarging the windows, doubling its volume by adding a new room and demolishing and rebuilding the farm wings nearby, turning it into a pleasure residence rather than a simple farm‑castle.

The property then passed to the Braconnier family, who owned it until 2006, when it was sold and converted into apartments within a park that contains many remarkable trees and a pond; today the site is private and not open as a museum, but visitors can admire the château and its grounds from public paths and trails that circle the domain, and the building is noted in local heritage and architectural exhibitions as an example of Delsaux’s work in the region.
