Château du Plessis-Josso is a well-preserved fortified manor in Theix-Noyalo, near Vannes in Brittany, France.

Built around 1330 by Sylvestre Josso during the Breton War of Succession, it is one of the finest examples of a medieval Breton manor and remains inhabited by the same family that acquired it in the late 18th century. Surrounded by a pond and protected by crenellated walls, defensive towers, and a fortified enclosure, the estate reflects both its military and agricultural past.

In the Middle Ages, it served as the center of a large domain with mills, ovens, a chapel, and even a private port connected to the Gulf of Morbihan. Today, the château is recognized as a historic monument and is admired for its blend of medieval, Renaissance, and later architectural features. Visitors come to explore its historic buildings, picturesque grounds, and unique insight into the history of Brittany’s noble estates.
