Château Palmer is a prestigious wine estate in the Margaux‑Cantenac area of the Bordeaux region in France (not Belgium), classified as a Third Growth (Troisième Grand Cru) in the historic 1855 Bordeaux Wine Classification and widely considered one of the two most admired Third Growths of the Margaux appellation.

The property covers about 55–66 hectares of vineyards on gravelly and sandy soils between the Gironde estuary and the Atlantic, planted mainly with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a small amount of Petit Verdot, and it produces a celebrated red wine known for its elegance, delicacy and balance, along with a second wine called Alter Ego and a limited white wine.

The estate’s history begins in the 18th century as Château de Gascq, and in 1814–1816 it was acquired by the British General Charles Palmer, who greatly expanded and improved the vineyards and whose name permanently became associated with the property; in 1853 the Pereire brothers built the present neo‑Renaissance château building, and since 1938 the estate has been owned by the Sichel and Mähler‑Besse families, with Thomas Duroux managing it as director since 2004.
