Château Thor is an 18th‑century historic country château located in Astenet, a village of the municipality of Lontzen in the German‑speaking part of eastern Belgium, close to the German border and the towns of Aachen and Eupen.

The estate is a three‑winged complex built around a cobblestone courtyard dating from about 1700, with a harmonious main house featuring timber framing and period details such as old plaster ceilings and fires, including a chapel with Louis XV‑style carved oak doors and a neighbouring salon with painted wall coverings depicting biblical scenes.

The château was listed as part of Lontzen’s protected heritage inventory and in recent decades has been fully restored and adapted, first as a hotel and gourmet restaurant with about ten double rooms and later as a privately run venue available for large group stays, celebrations and events, now marketed under names like “Das GANZE Chateau Thor” and offering up to 20–22 guests across ten bedrooms and ten bathrooms, together with gardens, a terrace, a sauna or whirlpool, game facilities and bicycle rental in a quiet, park‑like setting beside the small Grotbach stream.

Today Château Thor is known both as a listed historical building with 18th‑century architectural features and as a versatile event and holiday château that can be rented entirely for family gatherings, company parties or short‑term stays in the East Belgian countryside.
