It lies along the Cher River in the heart of the Loire Valley, an area renowned for its history, vineyards, and beautiful landscapes. The village is famous worldwide for the Château de Chenonceau, one of France’s most iconic castles. Often called the “Ladies’ Château” because of the influential women who shaped its history, the castle is uniquely built across the Cher River and is celebrated for its elegant Renaissance architecture and gardens.
