The Domain of the Caves of Han is a large nature and tourism site near Rochefort in Wallonia, Belgium, centered on the famous Caves of Han‑sur‑Lesse along the Lesse River. The complex of caves, carved by the underground river in limestone, contains vast chambers decorated with remarkable stalactites and stalagmites and is considered one of Europe’s most beautiful show caves, with guided tours that include a dramatic sound‑and‑light show inside. The domain also includes a 250‑hectare wildlife park where visitors can see the “European Big Five” (bear, wolf, lynx, bison, and wolverine) and other animals roaming in semi‑natural enclosures, either on foot or by safari bus. Alongside the cave and the park there is the Prehistohan Museum, unusual nature‑based accommodation, and picnic areas, making the site a popular full‑day destination for families and nature lovers in the Ardennes.
