Verified Eremyten Hof

Evergem, Belgium, Belgium

Eremyten Hof is a charming 18th‑century manor house and Bed & Breakfast in the rural village of Evergem, East Flanders, Belgium, located at Achterstege 9, about 4 km from the centre of Ghent.

The main building dates from the late 18th century (around 1798), with parts of the house thought to be even older, and it is set in a large, landscaped park of about 18,000 m² featuring a spacious pond, century‑old trees, and views of the garden from most guest rooms. The estate includes a historic coachhouse where breakfast is served, and the property is now operated as a welcoming, family‑run B&B offering seven guest rooms, each with its own bathroom, TV and good internet, as well as a lounge, room service and free parking, and it is increasingly used for co‑working, meetings and training activities.

The name “Eremyten” refers to an old Dutch word for a recluse or monk‑like hermit, and the site retains a quiet, almost cloistered atmosphere combined with the everyday comforts of modern accommodation, while its location on the edge of Evergem gives easy access to local restaurants, shops, and tram lines that connect directly to Ghent’s historic centre and to Flanders Expo.
