Floreat Beach is a patrolled, white‑sandy beach in the suburb of City Beach, just north of central Perth in Western Australia.

It lies along the Indian Ocean, directly next to the better‑known City Beach and forms part of the same coastal stretch off West Coast Highway. The beach has clear, usually calm water that is good for swimming and is popular with families, surfers, and people who enjoy long walks along the shoreline.

Facilities include a grassy parkland with picnic and barbecue areas, a nature playground, a café or kiosk, toilets, and a coastal boardwalk or cycle path that runs close to the sand. Being in a quieter, upscale part of Perth’s western suburbs, Floreat Beach tends to feel less crowded than the main City Beach area while still offering easy access by bus or car from the city centre.
