Galapinhos Beach, also known as Praia dos Galapinhos, is a small, picturesque beach in the Arrábida Natural Park on the Setúbal coast of Portugal, about an hour from Lisbon.

It is famous for its strikingly clear turquoise waters, soft white sand, and steep green hills that create a dramatic, amphitheater‑like setting, earning it international recognition as one of Europe’s most beautiful beaches. The sea is generally calm and safe for swimming and snorkeling, though it can be quite cool, and the beach has only limited facilities such as a small seasonal bar and chair‑parasol rentals, with no toilets or showers on the sand.

Access is relatively challenging, usually involving a short walk over rocks from the neighboring Galapos Beach or a hike along inclined trails from the road, which helps keep crowds smaller and makes it a quieter, more secluded spot despite its fame.
