Gaverkasteel is a historic, castle‑like country house in the municipality of Deerlijk, West Flanders, Belgium, situated at Vercruysse de Solartstraat 24 within the larger Gaverdomein sports and recreation area.

The site originally held a 17th‑ and 18th‑century manor farm called ‘t Goed ter Plancken, which later operated as a sheep farm and in the early 19th century came into the hands of the wealthy Vercruysse family. At the end of the 19th century, Baron Astère Vercruysse de Solart extensively rebuilt the farm into a summer residence in a more “château” style, giving the building its present prominent, castle‑like character, although the older farm core and some outbuildings (such as the former coachhouse and stables with the date 1772 still visible) remain part of the ensemble.

During the First World War the house was requisitioned by German officers, who removed much of the valuable furniture, and after the war it changed hands several times, first to owners who used it for illegal alcohol production, then to private individuals, before being bought in 1956–57 by the municipality of Deerlijk. From 1957 the castle and its grounds became the core of the Gaverdomein leisure park, with sports facilities, tennis courts, a swimming pool and later a second sports hall, and the old coachhouse continues to serve as a restaurant and brasserie.

The castle itself now houses the municipal Social House and OCMW (public welfare centre), and in September 2025 restoration work began to fully restore the exterior, including the battlements, façade and loggia, and eventually the interior, ensuring that this 19th‑century manor converted into a castle‑like summer residence remains a central historical landmark in Deerlijk.
