France, France
Gevrey-Chambertin is a renowned wine-producing village in the Côte-d’Or department of Burgundy, eastern France, located about 15 kilometers south of Dijon.
It is one of the most famous communities along the Route des Grands Crus and is internationally recognized for its prestigious red wines made from Pinot Noir grapes. The village is especially celebrated for its Grand Cru vineyards, including the legendary Chambertin vineyard, and is home to nine Grand Cru wine appellations, more than any other village in Burgundy.
These vineyards produce some of the world's most highly regarded and sought-after wines.
