Golden Horn Beach, also known as Zlatni Rat, is a striking white‑pebble spit beach on the south coast of the island of Brač in Croatia, just west of the town of Bol. It juts out into the Adriatic Sea like a horn, with its shape and length subtly shifting over time as tides, currents, and winds reshape the landform, which is why it has become such an iconic image of Croatian tourism. The beach is popular with both sunbathers and windsurfers, thanks to its clear turquoise water, gentle gradients, and the reliable afternoon westerly wind known as the Maestral that makes it ideal for board sports. Facilities include bars, cafés, sun loungers, and seasonal events, while the area is busy in summer but can be reached easily on foot along a shaded promenade from Bol or by tourist boat from nearby towns.
