Golf Château de la Tournette
Nivelles, Belgium, Belgium
Golf Château de la Tournette is a private golf club located in the countryside between Ittre and Nivelles in Walloon Brabant, Belgium, opened in 1988 and best known for its two 18‑hole championship courses, the Américain and the Anglais, plus a compact 9‑hole Orival course, all set within a parkland and former links‑style landscape with extensive practice facilities, a clubhouse with restaurant, and a conference centre.
The 18‑hole Américain course, designed by Bill Amick, is a more traditional parkland layout of about 6,030 metres with moderate to hard difficulty, while the 18‑hole Anglais course, created by Martin Hawtree and Peter Ellis, was originally a tree‑sparse, links‑like design around 6,200 metres and has gradually become more tree‑lined and parkland through planting, though it still retains strong elevation changes, stylish bunkering, and an especially celebrated long par‑3 12th hole reminiscent of classic British seaside golf.
Visitors are welcome every day, with a valid handicap certificate required, and green fees for 18 holes on the two main courses range from around €70–€75 on weekdays to €100 on weekends and holidays, while the 9‑hole Orival course has a much lower fee of about €25 for 18 holes (two rounds of 9), and the club also offers a driving range, practice area, golf tuition through La Tournette Academy, and a restaurant with terrace bar and children’s play area, making it a popular destination for both leisure golfers and business meetings.
