Gramvoussa Fort is a large Venetian fortress located on the small island of Imeri Gramvousa off the northwestern coast of Crete, Greece.

Built between 1579 and 1584, it was designed to protect important sea routes and defend the region from Ottoman attacks. Its dramatic position atop a steep rocky hill gave it excellent natural defenses and commanding views of the surrounding sea. The fortress remained under Venetian control long after most of Crete had fallen to the Ottomans, but it was eventually surrendered in 1692.

During the Greek War of Independence in the 1820s, it became a stronghold for Cretan rebels and later gained fame as a base for pirates operating in the area. Today, the fort's walls, bastions, reservoirs, church, and other ruins are still largely preserved. Visitors can explore the historic site while enjoying spectacular panoramic views of the sea, nearby islands, and the famous Balos Lagoon.
