Greenhills Beach
Australia, Australia
Greenhills Beach is a long, unpatrolled beach in southern Sydney, New South Wales, located on Bate Bay in the Sutherland Shire about 18 kilometres from the city centre.
It is roughly 3 kilometres in length and forms the northernmost section of the Greenhills–North Cronulla beach complex, known for its wide, open, relatively quiet shoreline compared with busier nearby beaches.
The beach has a soft, dune‑backed sand strip, low surf helped by an offshore reef, and is popular for peaceful walks, swimming, and dog‑friendly access during designated off‑leash hours, while remaining a quieter, low‑crowd coastal escape close to Cronulla and the Sydney CBD.
