Kasteel Groeneveld in Grimbergen is a historic neo‑classical country house and estate on the east bank of the Willebroeksevaart, in the northern part of the municipality, near the Kattemeuterbos and accessible via a long avenue that runs along the southern edge of the domain.

The core of the estate grew out of the former “pachthof Vroonevelt”, a farm belonging to the Abbey of Grimbergen, with its land‑ and farmhouse dating at least to the 18th century. Over time the farm buildings were gradually transformed into a château with a quasi‑rectangular layout, set in a park that includes wooded areas, open fields and a water feature, and the estate is now known for its combination of historic architecture, a large park and a pleasant canal setting rather than as a medieval fortification.

The building is now a private residence and occasionally used for events, while the surrounding park and avenue are part of the local green landscape.
