Kasteel Printhagen is a historic castle and castle farm complex near the hamlet of Herbroek, in the municipality of Kortessem close to Hasselt in Belgian Limburg, located at Printhagendreef 2 and 4.

The site originated as a small free lordship known as Printhagen, which is already mentioned in 1273 when Raso van Houte and Willem van Printhagen are named as brothers and lords of the castle and estate around Cortessem (Kortessem), and from that period the name “Printhagen” gradually became attached to the domain after inheritance passed through the van Houte and van Printhagen lineages.

The present castle is a square residential tower in Maasland Renaissance style, with a stone core dating from the first half of the 17th century, later additions such as an 18th‑century entrance gate, stairwell and stucco work from around 1760, and interiors decorated in late‑18th‑century Rococo style, all executed in brick with limestone detailing that typifies the region’s manorial architecture. 

Attached to the castle is a U‑shaped castle farm (kasteelhoeve) with 18th‑ and 19th‑century functional buildings such as stables, workshops and a pigeon tower, forming a compact “castle‑and‑farm” complex that shows the continuity of noble residence and agricultural management at Printhagen.
