The Kasteeldomein Het Lintkasteel is a historic water‑castle estate in the village of Grimbergen, north of the town centre near the Gillebeek stream and the border with Beigem, consisting of an early‑medieval motte (mound) with later 16th‑century water‑castle remains on the upper court and a 19th‑ and 20th‑century castle farm and ancillary buildings on the lower court.

The Lintkasteel as a whole is named after the van Lint family, who were “leenheren” (lords of the lease) of the Lords of Grimbergen until the French Revolution, and from the late 15th to the late 18th century the site was used mainly as a “hof van plaisantie” (pleasure house) by jurists and important state administrators, with Helene Fourment, the second wife of the painter Peter Paul Rubens, also mentioned as a former inhabitant.

The estate is set in a 9.5‑hectare, landscape‑valuable domain: the wet grounds of a former stream depression are planted with rows of poplars, the area is wooded in parts and includes the nearby Lintbos, and the property was listed as a protected monument on 9 July 1980.
