Built after the decline of Great Zimbabwe, the site is famous for its impressive dry-stone architecture, decorated retaining walls, and terraced platforms that showcase advanced engineering and artistic skill. Archaeological discoveries, including objects from Europe and China, reveal that Khami was an important trade center. Today, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Zimbabwe’s most significant historical and cultural landmarks.
