La Roche-Jagu is a beautifully preserved 15th-century fortified manor located in Ploëzal, Brittany, overlooking the Trieux River estuary.

Built to monitor and protect river traffic, its elevated position offers impressive views of the surrounding countryside and waterways. Originally designed as both a noble residence and a defensive stronghold, the château features classic medieval architecture and is considered one of the best-preserved historic buildings in Brittany.

It has been protected as a historic monument since 1930 and restored for public use by the Côtes-d’Armor department. Today, La Roche-Jagu is a major cultural and tourist destination, hosting exhibitions, concerts, and events throughout the year.
