Las Delicias is a charming coastal town and beach resort located in the Moche district of Trujillo, in Peru’s La Libertad region, sitting just 10 to 15 minutes by car south of downtown Trujillo and 5 minutes from the traditional town of Moche.

The beach lies between the Buenos Aires resort to the north and the port of Salaverry to the south, and is known for its pristine, clean, and relatively uncrowded shores with beautiful homes and quiet streets that preserve its former identity as a luxury seaside neighborhood. It is a family-friendly destination where cleanliness and safety are prioritized, with locals and visitors enjoying the serene atmosphere, fresh seafood, and traditional Trujillan cuisine including cebiche, shambar, and sopa teóloga.

The town is famous for its annual San José Festival held on March 17–19, a vibrant patronal feast with strong Spanish influence featuring flamenco dancing, bars, the election of Majas ladies, "Noche de Tascas," and the famous Toro Match, along with other events like the Tasca Miller Fiesta and Red Bull Luau.

Visitors can walk freely along the beach and nearby areas (vehicles are not permitted), swim in clean waters, and take short trips to explore Moche’s culinary heritage, though caution is advised venturing too far into open areas due to potential security concerns and limited state support for beach cleaning and surveillance.
