Lasserre is a small rural community in the Haute-Garonne department of the Occitanie region in southwestern France, about 25 kilometers northwest of Toulouse.

Formerly an independent commune, it merged with Pradère-les-Bourguets in 2018 to form the new commune of Lasserre-Pradère, which had about 1,574 residents in 2023. The area is known for its peaceful countryside setting and its proximity to the Forêt de Bouconne, a large woodland that covers a significant portion of the local territory and offers opportunities for outdoor recreation.

Lasserre retains a traditional village character, centered around historic landmarks such as the Church of Saint Martin and surrounded by agricultural landscapes. Despite its rural atmosphere, it benefits from good transport connections to Toulouse and nearby towns. Today, Lasserre is appreciated for its balance of countryside living, natural surroundings, and convenient access to the Toulouse metropolitan area, making it an attractive place for residents seeking a quieter lifestyle.
