The Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens is a large, free‑entry park and plant collection site in West Mackay, Queensland, Australia, stretching across about 33–51 hectares of lagoons, forest, and landscaped gardens around Lagoon Street.

Opened in May 2003, it showcases the diverse plant life of the Central Queensland coast, with around 88 percent of its living collection made up of native species, including many that are rare or at risk in the wild, arranged into themed zones such as indigenous gardens, a Japanese garden linked to Mackay’s sister city Matsuura, a gymnosperm garden with pines and bunya trees, and a Malta garden reflecting local Mediterranean heritage.

The site offers more than 6 kilometers of pathways, picnic areas, a visitor centre, a café and gallery, regular guided walks, birdlife surveys, and community events, functioning both as a peaceful green hub for locals and as an educational and cultural space for visitors to the Mackay region.
