Mégarnie is a green, riverside estate located on the border between the villages of Engis and Flémalle, just off the Meuse River in Belgium’s Liège area.

It centers on a historic manor house, Château Mégarnie, built in 1875 and originally linked to the nearby industrial activity of the Société de la Nouvelle Montagne zinc and phosphate works, now part of the Prayon group. Over time the surrounding area has been reshaped by quarries and housing, but the site has been transformed into a renovated event and meeting venue that blends nature, heritage, and sustainability. 

Today Mégarnie hosts seminars, workshops, and gatherings, offering meeting spaces, a peaceful wooded setting, and simple outdoor amenities such as a campfire area and a petanque court, all within easy reach of both Liège and Huy.
