Outão Beach (Praia do Outão) is a small, tranquil oceanic beach in Setúbal, Portugal, located at the northern mouth of theSado River within the protected Arrábida Natural Park, about 5 km from Setúbal city and 40 minutes from Lisbon.

The beach features fine golden sand that becomes fully submerged during high tide and is embraced by the historic walls of the Forte de Santiago do Outão (Old Fort of Outão), a 17th-century fortress that adds unique character to the setting. Access is restricted—the beach sits on the premises of an orthopedic hospital and is private, accessible only to employees and their families, though licensed fishing is permitted with security guard permission.

Despite limited public access, it's known for its peaceful, unspoiled atmosphere, amazing views across the Sado Estuary toward the Tróia Peninsula, and opportunities to spot dolphins in the surrounding waters. The nearby area offers great seafood restaurants like Bar Mar, famous for local choco frito (fried cuttlefish), and serves as a base for exploring Arrábida Natural Park's hiking trails, neighboring beaches like Figueirinha and Galápos, and the Sado Estuary Natural Reserve.
