Praia da Bela Vista is a sandy beach in the Costa da Caparica area of Almada, in the Setúbal District south of Lisbon, Portugal, known for its wide 300-meter stretch of sand, natural dunes, and calm conditions that make it popular with kitesurfers and families.

It was established in 1995 as Portugal’s first official nude beach and now welcomes a diverse community—including naturists, families, and LGBTQIAP+ visitors—in designated zones, with a legal naturist area starting 400 m south of the Transpraia stop 17 and extending 700 m north of Fonte da Telha. The beach is easy to reach by car via a dirt track from Estrada Florestal or by the summer Transpraia train (parada 17), offers parking, and has two kitesurfing schools that create a colorful sight against golden cliffs and Atlantic waves.

At low tide, small pools and lagoons form that children love, the water is monitored during the bathing season, and the beach carries Blue Flag and Zero Poluição certifications for water quality and safety. Visitors report a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere with plenty of space and sand, little litter, and nearby cafés, and the beach is especially suitable for kitesurfing due to its consistent winds and flat, gentle waves.
