Praia da Lagoa de Albufeira‑Mar, often simply called Lagoa de Albufeira, is a long, sandy beach in the Sesimbra municipality south of Lisbon, set where the Albufeira lagoon meets the Atlantic Ocean near the village of Aldeia do Meco.

It has a wide stretch of coarse sand running for about 1.5 km, backed by extensive dunes and pine woods, and is separated from the calm, shallow lagoon by a natural dune ridge that supports rich birdlife and vegetation.

The beach faces the open sea, so waves can be strong and the water often quite cool, making it popular with windsurfers, kitesurfers, and surfers more than with casual swimmers, although the nearby lagoon side offers gentler, safer conditions for families and children.

The area is environmentally protected, Blue Flag–certified, and relatively uncrowded compared with nearby resort beaches, with basic facilities such as seasonal lifeguard service, a small car park, and a few rustic cafés nearby.
