Praia da Lagoa de Óbidos is a wide, family‑friendly beach located on the Silver Coast, along the edge of the large Lagoa de Óbidos saltwater lagoon in Leiria, where calm, shallow, warm waters meet fine white sand and beautiful views of the lagoon and the Atlantic.

The spot is especially popular with families because the lagoon side is soft, gentle, and safe for children, while the nearby ocean side offers clearer waves and some surf and bodyboard action without feeling as wild as many open‑coast beaches. The beach has relatively simple but practical facilities, including toilets, showers, sunbed and umbrella rentals, a small bar and restaurant area, and easy free parking, and it tends to stay less crowded than the more famous Foz do Arelho across the lagoon, giving it a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere.
