Praia da Rocha Baixinha, also known locally as Praia da Falesia’s eastern extension, is the easternmost beach of Albufeira on the central Algarve, sitting between the end of the long Praia da Falésia and the resort town of Vilamoura.

It features wide, soft golden sand that continues the same 6‑kilometer‑long coastal stretch but with lower, softer cliffs and more dunes as the famous red Falésia cliffs taper off. The beach is split into a quieter western section near the remaining red cliffs and a livelier eastern part backed by dunes, a wooden boardwalk, and a cluster of bars and restaurants that give it a busy, party‑friendly atmosphere in summer.

It carries a Blue Flag, with lifeguards in season, toilets, sunbed and parasol rentals, water‑sports options, and good access for people with reduced mobility, plus good links by bus from Albufeira and a short drive from Vilamoura.
