Praia da Samouqueira is a small, secluded beach on the wild west coast of Portugal, set in the Natural Park of Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina close to the town of Porto Covo in the Alentejo region.

It lies tucked into a rocky cove with a modest stretch of sand and some gravel and rocky outcrops, surrounded by steep cliffs and accessed by a sometimes‑steep trail or stairs from a small parking area above. The beach is known for its unspoiled natural beauty, quiet atmosphere, and striking sea caves and grottos that can be explored at low tide, and it is also popular with divers and snorkelers because of the clear waters and rocky seabed.

Because access is a bit tricky and the beach is modest in size, it rarely gets crowded and suits visitors who want a peaceful, scenic coastal spot away from big resorts.
