Praia de Quiaios is a long, wide Atlantic beach on the central coast of Portugal, about 10 kilometers north of the city of Figueira da Foz, set between the sea and the Serra da Boa Viagem mountain range.

It has a broad expanse of soft white sand flanked by vegetated dunes, reached by wooden walkways, and offers a wilder, more natural beach feel than the busier urban resorts nearby. The sea brings powerful waves that can be dangerous for swimming but are popular with surfers and bodyboarders, including during organized competitions, while the beach still carries a Blue Flag and basic facilities such as lifeguards in summer, toilets, showers, parking, a small bar, and some restaurants.

The area is known for holiday homes, a small camping site, and activities like horse riding and mountain‑biking in the surrounding hills, making it a good choice for visitors who want a mix of outdoor sport, a spacious sandy beach, and a quieter coastal setting close to the Costa de Prata.
