Praia de São Lourenço is a renowned surf beach located approximately 7 kilometers north of Ericeira near Ribamar in the Mafra municipality of Portugal, positioned at the northernmost point of the Ericeira World Surfing Reserve.

This sheltered bay beach is famous for its consistent, powerful right-hand wave that breaks over a sandy-rocky reef, offering long walls with multiple sections and challenging vertical take-offs that make it a favorite among experienced surfers. The beach can hold swells up to 5 meters, more than any other break in Ericeira, transforming into a heavy big wave spot during massive swells, though it also has an inside section suitable for less advanced surfers and longboarders on smaller days.

São Lourenço is best surfed between low and mid-tide with northwest swells and easterly winds, and due to its distance from central Ericeira, it tends to be less crowded than other popular spots like Ribeira d'Ilhas or Coxos. The beach sits in close proximity to Ribamar, which is famous for its many quality restaurants specializing in fresh fish and shellfish, and it offers excellent surfing alongside good support infrastructures including beach access, restrooms, and accessibility features.
