Praia do Seixal (also called Porto do Abrigo do Seixal or Praia do Seixal) is a stunning black sand beach located in Seixal, a civil parish in the municipality of Porto Moniz on Madeira Island, Portugal, about 656 residents across 36.37 km² in this northern coastal area.

The beach features unique black volcanic sand that creates a dramatic contrast with the crystal-clear deep blue Atlantic waters and the lush green mountains rising steeply from the shoreline, making it one of Madeira's most beautiful and representative spots. A small waterfall cascades directly from the rocks onto the beach, adding to its natural charm and earning it recognition as possibly one of Europe's most beautiful beaches.

The beach was developed from a 19th-century trading port into a recreational destination, offering free facilities including showers, toilets, and changing rooms near the water, plus free parking directly behind the beach, making it perfect for families and photography lovers. The name "Seixal" comes from the abundance of pebbles on the beach, similar to its continental twin, and the area extends from the Atlantic Ocean into the interior Paul de Serra plateau, experiencing a subtropical Mediterranean climate with warm summers and mild winters.
