Praia do Vale de Centeanes is a sheltered golden‑sand cove on the Algarve coast of Portugal, located just east of the town of Carvoeiro in the Lagoa municipality.
The beach is enclosed by tall, orange cliffs and reached by a long staircase from the road above, giving it a calm, bowl‑like setting with relatively clear and gentle waters that are good for swimming and snorkeling. It is a Blue Flag beach with lifeguards during summer, toilets, a restaurant and bar overlooking the shore, and some shade and sunbed rentals, making it family‑friendly yet scenic.
The cove is also a key access point to the Seven Hanging Valleys trail and close to Benagil Cave, so many visitors combine a swim here with walking along the cliffs to nearby beaches such as Praia da Marinha and Praia de Benagil.
