Praia dos Aveiros is a small, sheltered cove‑style beach in the Areias de São João area of Albufeira, Algarve, sitting between the busy Praia da Oura and Praia dos Alemães but feeling much quieter and more intimate.

It is ringed by low cliffs and rocky outcrops, with golden sand and usually calm, clear water that is good for swimming and snorkeling, and it often forms small tidal pools between the rocks at low tide. The beach carries a Blue Flag, indicating good water quality and basic facilities such as a small restaurant, toilets, showers, and seasonal lifeguards, plus some sunbeds and umbrellas in summer.

Access is mainly on foot, via a short path and steps down from the coastal road near the Hotel Auramar, and it suits visitors who want a relaxed, slightly hidden spot close to Albufeira’s town centre and nightlife without the crowds of the main resort beaches.
