Praia dos Salgados is a wide, sandy beach in the western part of Albufeira municipality in the Algarve, southern Portugal, lying between Praia da Galé and Praia Grande.

It runs along the Atlantic coast and is famous for the large Lagoa dos Salgados, a freshwater lagoon immediately behind the beach that forms an important wetland and bird habitat, giving the area a more natural and quieter feel than many other Algarve resorts. The beach itself is broad and gently sloping, with calm, clear waters suitable for swimming and walking, and it is framed by dunes and a wooded golf‑residential area that you cross on a palm‑lined road to reach the sand.

Praia dos Salgados has Blue Flag status, with parking, toilets, sunshade and equipment rentals, and several hotels within easy walking distance, while still preserving a relaxed, nature‑oriented atmosphere favored by families, birdwatchers, and travelers seeking a less crowded seaside experience.
