Praia Fluvial de Alvoco das Várzeas is a small, scenic river beach in the mountain village of Alvoco das Várzeas, in the municipality of Oliveira do Hospital, just below the Serra da Estrela in central Portugal.

It lies along the clear waters of the Ribeira de Alvoco, right next to a striking medieval stone bridge that frames the spot and offers beautiful views of the surrounding hills. The beach is supplied with a monitored swimming area, safe access for people with reduced mobility including a specially adapted ramp and an amphibious chair, as well as toilets, showers, a bar with restaurant service, a kids’ playground, picnic grounds with a barbecue area, and a small park where visitors can relax under shady trees.

It repeatedly holds a Blue Flag and quality‑gold environmental award, and is popular with families and nature‑oriented travelers who want a cool, clean, well‑equipped freshwater spot close to hiking trails and the mountain scenery of the Aldeias do Xisto region.
