Randan is a small town in the Puy-de-Dôme department of central France, known for its peaceful rural setting and rich historical heritage.

It has a population of around 1,600 residents and is located in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The town is best known for the Domaine Royal de Randan, a former royal estate associated with the House of Orléans and the last French king, Louis-Philippe. During the 19th century, the estate became an important royal retreat, featuring an elegant château, landscaped parkland, an orangery, and extensive grounds.
