Reuland Castle in Burg-Reuland, Belgium, was built after 1148 by the noble von Reuland family and played a key defensive role in the region, especially against raids by Normans and Hungarians during the 9th to 10th centuries.

The castle passed through various noble families and became part of the County of Luxembourg, flourishing in the 13th and 14th centuries when its rulers also held the title of Holy Roman Emperor. Over the centuries, the medieval fortress was repeatedly damaged and rebuilt, most notably transformed into a palace-like complex in the 16th century by the von Pallandt family.

It was destroyed during the French Revolution and left in ruins, which have since been restored by the local municipality. The castle is now a protected monument and museum, showcasing a rich archaeological heritage from the Middle Ages and offering visitors a remarkable experience of the region's feudal past and historical significance.
