Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne, located about 45 kilometers southeast of Melbourne, Australia, spans 363 hectares and is dedicated exclusively to showcasing Australian native flora.

Established in 1970 on land formerly used for sand quarrying and military purposes, the garden combines large areas of natural bushland with the award-winning Australian Garden, a contemporary landscaped area featuring around 170,000 plants from 1,700 species.

The Australian Garden reflects diverse Australian landscapes, including red desert sands, wetlands, and coastal regions, with artistic installations and educational displays about native plants and ecosystems.
