The ruins of the old château of Saive, known as the Vieux château de Saive, are the remains of a medieval castle situated in the village of Saive, part of the municipality of Blégny in the province of Liège, Belgium, at the Rue du Grand Moulin near old Gallo‑Roman roads on the historic frontier between the Principality of Liège and the Duchy of Limbourg.

The castle originally served as the seat of the lords of Saive and was linked to powerful regional figures such as Jean de Ryckel, a companion of the “Sanglier des Ardennes,” before gradually falling into ruin through neglect, abandonment, and the effects of centuries of conflict and political change in the area.

In 1971 the vestiges of the château were classified as protected heritage by the Walloon region, and since 2008 the non‑profit association “Les Compagnons du Vieux Château de Saive” has been working to conserve, stabilize, and promote the site, including shoring up vaults, installing temporary floors and roofs in the tower, and seeking further protection for the surrounding walls and fields.
